Hillside - Building Works Notice

March 11, 2024

On Monday 11th March works will begin to erect scaffolding to the front, rear and side of Hillside to facilitate roofing works on the building. This work is funded by Historic England through the High Street Heritage Action Zone and continues the extensive conservation repair that has been ongoing at this important listed building over the last 2 years. This project is also funded by Fylde Council and Kirkham Town Council to repair and conserve the fabric of the building.

Works to the roofs will begin on Tuesday 12th & Wednesday 13th March (weather-dependent) and will continue for up to 6 weeks.

Access will be maintained to the rear of the property for car parking for The Stables Bar patrons, Eric Wright Civil Engineering and Heritage Property Repairs who are working on the retaining wall project.

We apologise in advance for any inconvenience or disruption this may cause and thank you for your patience during the ongoing work at Hillside.
