Dear Resident / Occupier,
Please see below a list of the works to be undertaken over the next 4-6 weeks:
1. Works to continue on the northern side of Poulton Street, from No. 4 (Hays Travel Agent) through to No.30 (Old Bank public house). Works to include excavation and installation of tree pits, installation of new road gullies and the new granite kerbs. Paving will then be completed working up the road from No. 4.
2. Works to continue in Market Square. This will include completion of the tree pits, construction of the terracing and commencement of paving works.
3. Works will commence to the eastern site of Church Street on Tuesday 2nd May 2023, starting from the roundel junction.
4. Once the paving has been completed to the lower half of the northern side of the road, works will then begin on the south side. The anticipated date for this will be 15th May 2023.
Our temporary site offices are located at the Eagles Court car park to the rear of the Market Square shops.

A new programme inspired by the former Roman presence in Kirkham and Wesham and funded through a cooperative partnership will be bringing the past back to life and giving the community the opportunity to get involved in art and archaeology projects.
Please be advised that as part of the planned 'Kirkham Public Realm' works, Traffic Signals will be required in the town centre from Monday 22nd May 2023. This traffic management is required to complete new drainage connections into the existing combined drain running along Poulton Street. The works will be in 4 separate areas as can be seen on the drawing attached, and it is anticipated that there will be 2 days work in each area.
