Come into the United Reformed Church on 25th November between 2pm and 4pm, where there will be a short demonstration and guidance for how to construct your lantern.
You can then collect a free Lantern making kit (one per family). Once you have created your lantern at home, you can enter it in the lantern making competition on Saturday 3rd February. The time and place will be advertised for you to bring it along, special prizes will be awarded to the winners.
There is also going to be some fabulous free entertainment on offer that you can get involved in. Join the parade at Kirkham's first Heritage Lantern Festival!
