Eric Wright Civil Engineering will be carrying out works at the roundel/bottom of Preston Street starting from Wednesday 12th June until Friday 21st June as part of the public realm works. Due to the close proximity of the works to the roundel a temporary 4-way traffic signal setup will be required.
The works have been scheduled to avoid conflicting with the local 'club day' and will take place after the fun fair has left the recreation ground.
The planned works include:
- Adding additional road markings
- Modifying the pedestrian crossings
- Completing the paving in the splitter island
- Repairing damaged kerbs
