Please see information relating to a planned road closure, approved by Lancashire County Council, to take place in Kirkham Town Centre from 7.00 am on Tuesday 2 April 2024 until 1 pm on Saturday 6 April 2024, or until completion of the works.
The road closure is required by the public realm contractor to carry out works to the highway, including the completion of white lining of the roads, under the Kirkham Futures Public Realm Scheme.
It is hoped that, weather depending, the works can be completed within one day and the road will reopen earlier than planned. The works are weather dependant and therefore changes may be required to the road closure at short notice. The contractor will endeavour to complete the works in the shortest time possible with the least disruption.
Access to Poulton Street from Mill Street/Town End up to the Junction with Kirkgate will be available throughout for deliveries and for parking and access to businesses in this area.
